You, O LORD, Are A Shield

But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head. Psalm 3:3

• The LORD is a shield about me.

"For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield." Psalm 5:12

• The LORD is my glory.

"On God my salvation and my glory rest; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God." Psalm 62:7

• The LORD is the One who lifts my head.

"In the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.

And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD." Psalm 27:5-6
