What Is Then Necessary for a Christian to Believe?
Answer: All things promised to us in the gospel, which the articles of our catholic undoubted Christian faith briefly teach us.
"Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of
the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been
written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of
God; and that believing you may have life in His name." John 20:30,31
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them
to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even
to the end of the age." Matthew 28:19,20
"Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee,
preaching the gospel of God, and saying,'The time is fulfilled, and the
kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.'" Mark
1:14,15
